I am reading the application notes AN1354 which is titled "Implementing an LCD Using the PIC16F1947 Microcontroller".
In the schematic on page19, I see that SEG18 is connected pin3 (RG0/SEG42). Why SEG18 is connected to SEG42?
Also, in the code example, it enabled SE18, but not SE42.
