microblaze spartan 3 flash programming and FSL

I would like to know if anyone has used onboard flash on Xilinx spartan 3 board or used FSL (Fast Simplex Link) on that board. Further more did any one use any RTOS on spartan 3. I have not been able to do any of the above. Any help will be appreciated.
