Hi,
I would like to know after putting in the metal fill, if there is still some place left, is it kept as it is during manufacturing or is something filled in by the fab at that time ?
It may so happen that some place on some metal layer is still unoccupied after metal fill has been put in. So what happens to that place ?
For eg, in the technology I am working on currently, pdv rules specify that the highest layer should not be occupied to the extent of more than 80% including the metal fill. So what will fill in the remaining 20 % ?
