Mental block on converting schematics to pcbs

I can read a schematic pretty well, and I can breadboard most circuits from those schematics, but when it comes to going from a schematic to a printed circuit board, I get lost!

Anyone have suggestions for going from schematics to designing the layout of a pcb? It may be that I have only created 3 pcbs so far, and perhaps it will come with experience, I dunno, I'm just frustrated...
