Memory extension for PIC 16F628A

Hello
I want to some extend my program ,so i need some memory space.I little know about the memory extension,but i want to know completely about it.What source code is possible for memory chip( ATMEL 2408 ) and do you know, it need some header files when the program installed into the memory IC.I use assembly language in MPLAB IDE, the PIC is 16F628A and the programmer is Easy PRO L+.

IMHO this is not possible with PIC. Use another PIC with bigger program mem.

You had better think about the other PIC with bigger memory, much easier, and maybe not more expensive, than studying extending that way. Remember that you are dealing with a bit modern PIC (and AVR the same way) but not old 8051.

How much more memory? Data or Program.

Use a 16F648A if it's program
else an external I2C eeprom can be attached for data.
