Hello,
I like to know how to measure the voltage consumed by the FPGA VirtexII PRO (Xilinx).

Thanks

The voltage required will be in the data sheet.

Hi TrickyDicky,
Thank you,but i'm looking for a method to automatically measure the voltage consumed by my code from Xilinx.

As the FPGA is supplied by a constant voltage, you're probably asking for current consumption?

Hi FvM,
Thank you, I like to know the consumption for voltage and current.

Like FVM said, the voltage will be constant (if its not, you will have a problem)
For current - stick an ammeter between the main supply and the board. Thats the easiest way.

Most bench power supplies should show you current draw anyway.

In ISE there should be a tool (power analyzer or power estimator - something like this) that does power estimation - not measurement of course - from your design data.

HI dave9000,
Thank you very much. It's OKKKK.
