Hi,

The output voltage of the oscillator I have contains spikes/glitches. Using
Code:
.MEASURE TRAN MAX_VOLT MAX OUTPUT FROM=1ns TO=5ns
gives me the peak of the spike but not the stable voltage reached. Same goes for the MIN function.

Is there anyway to measure the stable voltage level reached?

Thank you.

You can use a "dummy" RC filter to remove the spikes without loading the circuit. You can use an ideal E element in hspice to get the waveform and use the RC filter to remove the spikes.

Hi,

Thank you for reply. I don't know how to do this all, but I will read some documents and research online.

I just have one question: Can be this done on .tr# files? Or do I need to re-run the simulations?

Thanks!
