Hi all,

I'm trying to substitute a MAX3232 ttl in / out pins Rx / Tx (the MAX is installed in a Modem (using protocol Euridis)) to connect with Miinport e3, in order to have ttl/ethernet connextion via Rx Tx

I'm wondering, if i shall use pin 9 as Tx for MAX3232 and 10 for Rx ?

cause when i connect with the minport i have in pin 10 a continous signala i don not know why?

Regards,

absak

You don't specify how you connected the miineport e3 to the max3232. Maybe you swapped the tx/rx pin connections. Did you connect pin 3 of jp4 to pin 10 of the max3232 and pin 1 of jp4 to pin 9 of max3232?

Which do you mean...you connected them as stated or swapped them?

I stated two things:
a) did you swap the tx/rx (i.e. have tx-tx, rx-rx)?
b) or did you connect it correctly with jp4-3 to max-10 and jp4-1 to max-9?

If you meant b then you should probably check the RS-232 rx line into the max and make sure you are seeing the signal.

i had connected jp4 3 to max 10 and jp4 1 to max 9
