matlab beamforming tutorial

Hi.
I want to simulate fixed beamforming of 4 microphones in an endfire setup (the 4 microphones are in a line pointing to a source) in MATLAB. I am having difficulty following the phased array toolbox examples because this is fixed rather than adaptive.
can anyone help?
