I am not familiar with that book, but there are on-line resources for spice modeling.
If you do a googlel search, you will get lots of results. For example, there are plenty of model for power electronics. Just do a google search on "spice SMPS".
You did not say what you wanted to model. In many instances, you can find the model from a manufacturer and if not get something fairly close. To reduce the amount of work, the first order of business should always be to see if a model already exists and whether or not it will do what you want it to do.
