Lumped port problems.

Hello,

I 've been working couples week with HFSS, an I think my desing is not correct, due the 3D radiation pattern is not the expected. The problems is in the Lumped Port, I want it only to radiate energy to the monopole, that it above it.

Can anyone give an advice about the modell. I only need to simulate a SMA connector ( or the RF feed ) in the simply way.

1- I couldn't open the file, every time that I tried HFSS V9.2 crash, maybe its a compatibility problem with the version of the program.

Thanks a lot for your support. I changed the geometry of the lumped port, and I got better results.

Why did you use a Ring geometry instead of a circular geometry, for the lumped port?
