I need to measure the total amount of current being drawn from a voltage source in a circuit simulation.

When I hold the cursor over the voltage source, it turns to the 'current probe' - but the arrow is facing in the 'wrong' direction so I get a negative current draw - as shown in the first screenshot.

If I modify that reading from I[V1] to I[V1]*-1 I get a positive reading - this is the current draw I would expect.

Is this a valid way of getting a correct reading of the total amount of current drawn from a circuit in an LT SPICE sim?

Thanks.
