LPC 1227 UART 1 receiving delay

Hi,

Any have an idea about receiving strings without waiting more than 3 ms.

i tried to remove the loop, but it making errors in receiving the second and third data.so i need a proper counder or timer to me executed after sending the data.

Hi
Iam working on a project based on uart communication on LPC 1227.The problem is that when ever i send a data through uart0 , my program is expected to receive a acknowledgement via uart1.so when ever the received data is missing or received in error, my program hangs and wait for the data which never come.So i need a function to identify the absence of string to avoid this hanging.
