Low current(voltage) source and low current measure setup

Hello!

Does anybody have any idea about how to generate currents (voltages) in the 0-500nA (0-500nV) range?. And any idea how to measure a current so small?

First of all, to generate small currents (nA) you can produce accurate low voltage, say, mV or less, and then with high-precison high-ohm resistors in series convert this low voltage to low current ..

To measure low currents you can build a meter based on a precision opamp, such as, for example, the LM11, or similar, see picture below ..
