Looking for some application notes to control a 230 VAC moto

I'm Looking for some application notes to control a 230 VAC motor.
It must be capable of controlling a motor from 200 -300mA.
Any app notes, design notes from suppliers are welcome. I wan't to control it with a normal processor.

Thanks for the info.
I was indeed looking for a simple solution (NOT DSP).
It's now done with a triac and var.resistor circuit. The purpose is to do it with a PWM signal.
