FIRST OF ALL I AM A STUDENT (ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING) AND I HAVE RECENTLY take on A PROJECT IN ROBOTICS REGARDIND SMAS AS TENDON-ACTUATORS.I WANT BASICALLY TO GET INVOLVED IN A PROJECT WITH ROBOTICS IN MEDICINE (LAPAROSCOPE...ETC).MY PROF. (SENIOR MEMBER OF IEEE) SUJESTED ME TO BEGIN WITH SMAS.IS THERE ANY ONLINE bibliography FOR SMA MATERIALS?
WHAT ARE THE PROSPECTS OF THESE MATERIALS IN FUTURE?

i am student of master in automation and control. i am working on SMAs based motion control. these sma are part of bnanotechnology. they ares used in small mvement systems. when u heat them using electric current then these matrial (wire) shrinks. Ni Ti is very famous. If u need i can send u papers
