go to the TI's web site and download the free code limited to 5kbytes enviroment .It's enough to get you started and enough to program most of the small micros . The EMBEDDED WORKBENCH comes with a SIMULATOR and a JTAG DEBUGGER .. AT the same website you will find the schematics of the cable an it works with all the family of microcontroller .. One thing this chip is NOT 5 volt tolerant ..you can BURN it .. i did !!!!!!!!!
