which is the easiest way to build an usb interface? I mean where can i find an usb chip like usbn9602 from national in Europe?

FTDI chips are really easy and they supplement free no-royalty drivers.

You can try TITUSB3210 ,it USB ctrl Mcu by 8x51.

Also try the PDIUSBD12 chip from Philips - being in Europe, it might be easier to get !

This is also a easy to use USB interface chip.

FTDI EU dealr S.O.S. electronics Italy.

PDIUSB may appeal for larger volumes, FTDI for quickier lower volume dls.FTDI initially seems easier sw-wise.
