I need a book to learn transforms! Anyone have something?

Re: Laplace transforms!

Search in EDABOARD for "Math book"
/ADM

Re: Laplace transforms!

i would recommend "The Transforms and Applications Handbook"

Re: Laplace transforms!

We can discuss your questions in this title.

Re: Laplace transforms!

search" sgnals and systems"
you can find many books

Re: Laplace transforms!

See chapter 16 of "Schaum's Outline Of Theory And Problems Of Electric Circuits"

Re: Laplace transforms!

If you have access to this book , try this one

Advanced Engineering Mathematics
Authors: Erwin Kreyszig, John Wiley

This book is very good, and covers Laplace, Fourier Transform. Complex anaylsis, Differntial Equations. ans so on

Laplace transforms!

I think it better to touch it from the way of "Signal and System"...Instead of from the math side..

Because it is more physically meaningful..

Re: Laplace transforms!

"The Transforms and Applications Handbook" is the best one...

Lots of books are available that deals specifically with Laplace Transform

Re: Laplace transforms!

Any signals and systems text (e.g. Oppenheim) will have a good coverage on the transform theory like Laplace, Z, Fourier.

Re: Laplace transforms!

they r many good mathematical books about laplace transform but i think it would be better if u study it in:
"Signals and Systems" Oppenheim
"Linear Control Systems" Dorf
coz they have many applications of it so it would b more helpful

Re: Laplace transforms!

the best book that explains laplace transform is
signals and systems by oppenheim
