Re: Digital Oscillator

Hi,
We are currently using a 100ppm part and it is not giving us any problem. It was available locally in Bangalore, India. Might be a local part will be sufficient for you. However Do you think it may affect the data Rate?

Re: Digital Oscillator

USB 1.1 SIE have many block ..
one block called DPLL ..

it use 17 stage State machine lock USB data ( only x4 speed )

12M FUll speed need a 48M clock ..

but digital OSC , as I know someone use invert (use switch contrl
P/Nmos size , you can look for some paper talk about this type
oscillator ...

but in USB 1.1 design we usuall us 48 Xtal or use
simple PLL (48M xtal have EMI issue)

and many USB MPU (cypress , zilog ... ) already build USB function
don't need another PLL circuit .
