IC tester

is there any simple circuit to test IC's using the computer or an independent system ??

Re: IC tester

What kind of IC's you want to test?
- Digital logic? (7400 / 4000 series?)
- (E)(E)Proms?
- Controllers
- analog (opamps?)

Many ic's are not testable without special equipment.

I have used the Xeltec programmers which can, beside programming eproms, also test a lot of digital logic.

Re: IC tester

basically digital ics but it would be best if all can be tested. I know i am asking for more but wiht todays computers nothing seems difficult.

Re: IC tester

Hi, for 74xx ic you can build the ic tester of Epe Magazine

Re: IC tester

For digital the Xeltec is ok.
For analog I don't know any tester.
