Hello,
What are the boundaries between so-called short and long codes in CDMA applications. I read that in WCDMA, a version of long codes called pseudonoise (PN) codes are used, what is the advantage of using them?
Also, regarding the channel estimation, what kind of differences would it create whether we are using short or long codes? How does it change the identifiability of the channel?
I'm trying to create an appropriate WCDMA model for my project, I would appreciate your help.
Thanks a lot.
