Hai

Is event viewer utility can log all activities of a windows xp system . I mean a folder created/ deleted date , last power up time .....etc . if not what is the way for this ? Please help me

The event viewer logs various events and tests and diagnostics. I've never seen it log a folder being created or deleted.

I look mainly at the ones for System and applications. There are a couple more but I think they require an add-on in order to work.

To record key presses, there are keyboard logger programs. Theoretically you can recover an entire document if you lose it before saving to disk.

The best software I have seen is Spector Pro
Spector Pro records all keyboard strokes, online screen names, IDs, passwords and more. The Snapshots feature takes screenshots as frequently as every second or based on user activity, such as clicking a mouse, visiting a webpage or launching an application. You can review screenshots via video-style playback.

Spector Pro can monitor all launched applications. It tells you which software installations are the most frequently used, the time and date they are used and the duration of use.

Of course this is possible, like on Domain environment, and single stand alone workstations without Domains. This is capability available from Windows NT 4.0. :)

If you dont have Security tab say.

This can be done in Pro but not in Home version. ;-)
