well , i am not sure about that i think square wave is ideal for switching as it gives maximum slope and hence more ideal switching , where near ideal switching gives at least better noise performance and better linearitybiff44 said:Mixers do not work well with square waves as the LO signal. So your orignal question is similar to asking "what miles per gallon does my car get if I use corn syrup instead of gas in the tank"! The answer is simply, who knows if you can even get the car started, let alone a specific detail like miles/gallon.
