How do i decide best Step size given in any nature

for minimizing the error we need update the coefficient vector so step size will decide the how much converge of desire signal so

how we can decide step size for unknown signal

it depends on your mean and i dont understand what you are referring as step size in LMS....

step size (µ) can be any value between 0 <µ<<1 but most cases we can take 0.01 to 0.001 , u have to deside by trying some diffrent values for getting optimum
