Hello friends
Before posting this thread i have searched on the internet and on the forum about linux, all i could find was traditional tutorials about linux as an OS. I have studied a few linux commands but i want to study linux for electronics. for example developing AVR needs working with "makefiles"??, GNU tool chain and so on...... so where to find info about such practical things
then there are lot of sites for understanding gcc , make etc.
google for basics of ...
remember if you can understand the 'make ' you can do anything in gnu tools.
a simple introduction to make was available in "turboc reference"
(yes , turboc has "make"---but nobody uses it)
if you can get turboc manual then you will get the philosophy behind make.
