Lift Simulator using DE1

Hey Guest,anyone that know how to design a lift simulator for Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) implementation using
Verilog HDL and implement the design on Altera DE1 development board for demonstration? any sample code can let me look as reference?

How good are you with Verilog? Have you tested any simple code like led blinking or 7 segment display? Altera website has many example code which you can take a look at. All the best!
