I've built an led circuit that's powered by a driver. I want to switch the circuit after the driver, but when I do the driver ramps up it's output and blows the leds.

Can I insert a choke or resistor into the circuit, or something, after the driver, which will protect them from this spike when the switch engages?

Help!

I don't want to have to switch on the mains power side. Too much trouble at this stage of the build.

Hi,

Its impossible to say - you need to post the circuit diagram and detail the parts used.
