Learning CCP module, please advise some project

Hi,

I really don't know in what kind of situation Capture & Compare module are used. While learning CCP module i have already done PWM, now i want to go further to understand Capture and Compare modules, can you please advise some small project to learn working of Capture and Compare modules,

Hi,

I don't know which chip are you using but a couple of experiments you can do.

Module to be used is Capture
1. Frequency measurement
2. PWM duty cycle measurement

Module to be used is Compare
1. Triggering some devices (say every 10 min)

i'm using 8 bit PIC MCU, i want to know practical implementation of CCP modules in what kind of application these modules are used, i also wanted to know some basic project could be developed to understand Capture and Compare modules,
