Learn At commands for Gsm module interface with a controller

hello frnds, I wanna learn AT commands of a GSM module. My GSM module will be interfaced with a controller. I will be sending SMS from a moble to this GSM module. using this method i want to control various appliances with the help of controller. I am getting into this field for the first time so i want to know detail information about how to use At commands. Please help me in this work its really Important for me.

first of all you should check which commands your gsm module supports. Best to search for manufacturers at commands refference. One used to send sms is AT+CMGS command. Have a look e.g. https://www.smssolutions.net/tutorials/gsm/sendsmsat/
