lattitude and longitude conversion

Dear all,
Can anyone tell how to convert latt and long into degree,minutes and seconds.
Example:

Lattitude 1304.4000,N
Longitude 7731.3000,E
i am getting this latt and long from fastrax gps receiver.
How to convert this?and how to check this with in map

you should get a number like : xxmm.dddd Latitude coordinate.
where

xx = degrees
mm = minutes
dddd = decimal part of minutes
