Lack of serial data transmission by GSM sim300z

yes, i am also talking of configuring the module (GSM) to 9600 and then interface it to controller... generating 115200 in controller is difficult.... so first change the baud rate of the module to 9600 and then interface it to the controller board.. if you see the baud rate set in the controller is abiout 9600, and if the modem has 115200 baud rate then the two devices will not communicate.. ....
 

first try to change the tx and rx pin of the cable at one end and try to see the communication. if it does not come then replace the max232IC in the GSM module...
