hi all,
anyone could help me to explain these items, "ius, irun, ncsim, gcc"?

in my eyes, ius is a cadence software,
irun is a command to run simulation,
ncsim also is a command to run simulation,
gcc is a tool to compile c file,

and am i right?
what the difference between irun and ncsim?
and i want to know the relationship between tools(software) and command one by one?

thank u very much!
please forgive me for my poor experience!

irun is a command that run step by step compilation hdl, systemC(ncvlog, ncvhdl, ncsc), elaboration(ncelab) and simulation (ncsim)
irun - single step modelling method
ncvlog->ncelab->ncsim - three step modelling method

ok, i got it, thanks very much!

yes, also gcc is for compile c/c++ code and irun is for compile hdl/systemc/system verilog and elaboration and simulation!
