i'm using TMS470R1B1M in one of my designs with ULINK2 debugger.
ULINK2 has 20 pin, 10pin options for JTAG connectivity.

TRST signal is not available in 10 pin option of uLINK(1.27mm pitch connector)

Earlier i was using 20 pin JTAG connector option for debugging. In that case TRST pin of uC was connected to TRST of ULINK2.it was working fine..

Now i'm using 10pin connector option in debugger. Now TRST of uC is pulled down to GND. But connectivity was not happening.it was showing no JTAG device connected.
when i pulled this pin to Vcc it was OK. But the TMS datasheet says TRST pin has to be pulled down.
will this create any other issues for TMS470 if the pin is held high throughout..or do i need to provide a jumper option for pulling it high while programming and keeping it low during normal operation.. visually there is no problem when the TRST pin of TMS470 is held high, low or floating once it removed from debugger

pls help me out in this issue..
