What's the difference between those softwares? Personally I use Altium Designer. But I am a beginner and I am only learning about the other softwares. In school I used Pspice a lot. The other softwares like PCad, Protel99se, Cadstar etc. I never heard of them until recently. I know altium because I know what it does and I like it. But are the other ones same as Pspice and Altium Designer? Just different names with little change?
Are they all made to design circuits ? What's the main difference? Is Pspice , Pcad , protel etc just old versions that never got popular?
