Is the UDN2993B replacement can be L293D???

Hello Guys...need your help to confirm if we can directly replace UDN2993B dual h-bridge motor drivers --> with L293D...Also appreciate much if anybody can recommend a replacement IC for UDN2993B ? Tthanks in advance.

Same application, L293B has the stronger driver. But no direct replacement. No pin compatibility. Different logic control. See the data sheets.
 

thanks erikl...now am sourcing for the original part...looks like there's no replacement :-(

Try and get the UDN2998W from Allegro. Seems this is a stronger driver than the UDN2993B, but with similar logic - not pin-compatible, however (different package: high power single in line). See the data sheet:
