Is It Possible to Programm Microcontroller Flash Memory With JTAG Emulator

Hi All,

As you can see the topic, I wonder that it is possible to upload hex code to microcontroller 's flash via JTAG Emulator device like below:

And I would be so glad if someone explain roughly what JTAG Emulator is and what this devices are used for

Yes, You can. JTAG is a protocol used for programming and debugging a embedded processor or controller.

It needs a JTAG peripheral available on the controller to work with.
Most of the controllers like ARM, PIC are coming with the JTAG interface.
Emulator means nearly like simulation but the code will really run on the connected target we can say this like debugging..
