Design of Max038

can anybody tell me if it is possible to design a ramp/sawtooth signal with a max038 instead of a triangle signal ? thank you.

Design of Max038

Yes. See the product description or datasheet:

Basically, you change the triangle's duty cycle to get a sawtooth.

Re: Design of Max038

thank you very much. but i noticed in the datasheet that the maximum duty cycle is only 85%. ideally, i would really like the falling time to be very small. perhaps 99% of duty ratio ? such as the old 8038 IC. so i am wondering if there is anyway i could have use the max038 to subsite the 8038. thank you very much.

regards,
