need for buffer..?

why do v need a buffer for bidirectional bus alone and not for unidirectional bus?

Re: need for buffer..?

Hi,
1. This is not really a DSP question.

2. The buffers provide a level of protection against concurrency problems. For unidirectional, there can never be conflicts.
