Is anyone have use AS3992 RF chip in direct mode?

I was read as3992's datasheet, I have some don’t understand in direct mode, if select Sub-carrier output in direct mode,why used two IO's(IO5,IO6)? What is the difference between these two outputs? What is the difference between phases of two signals?
