Ir Remote Control Extender

Hi,

I would like to build a remote control extender that uses tfms5360 or equal.I tried lots of garbage schematics which use ir receiver led+opamp / ir transmitter led+opamp.Most of them do NOT work.I have this ic tfms5360 and if someone advice me a link with this ic, i will be appreciated.

Check Elektor 07/1998 article "RC5 remote control extension". If you don't have this issue, I'll send the article.
