IR Light Barrier - shielding the reflected light with foil?

IR Light Barrier

Hi

i have to develop a IR measure light barrier and have a problem
with reflexions.
the wavelengh is >850nm
who have experience with polarisation filters (zircular pol)

is it possible to shield the reflected light with such foils or is this method
not for reflexions on metalsurfaces

Hi,

You know ir light is a electromagnetic radiation and all e.m. radiations can be reflected by metals.You can do your job metals such as foils.Rgrds,
