Inverter welder 45-140A 60kHz on UC3526

This inverter welder allows you to weld with DC in the range of 45-140A, using all kinds of electrodes including thick covered rutile and rutile-celulose electrodes, at which the arc voltage reaches up to 30V. In this welder, the arc glows easily and safely lights, it is soft and flexible, does not extinguish itself.

The driver is based on SG3526 operating with a frequency of 60kHz. Inverter is a typical 2-transistors pass inverter on IRG4PF50W (two transistors in parallel). Input inverter is a 50A/600V bridge, and the output rectifier consists of two double diodes DSEI2X101-600. Main transformer was made on core E71-3C90, while output choke – on core E65-3C90.

Dimensions of the welder: 145x215x270mm. Weight: less than 8kg.
