Hi,
I am a beginner in Power Electronics and i came up with an issue that i want to clarify..In software i designed an H_bridge to use it as an inverter circuit to produce pure sine wave.It works fine in software but now its time for hardware implementation but i have some doubts.

I am keeping gnd of MCU isolated from H_bdg's gnd but the power source is one 12v battery, i've to power up MCU(5v) and H_bdg from that battery so what should i do to keep both MCU and H_bdg gnd isolated in hardware.

*Gnd means -ve terminal not the safety gnd.

Hi,
i think the power supply of H-bridge and MCU must be isolated too.
i have built it, but the power supply of inveter and micro was seperated, also i used optocoupler for isolation between ground of MCU and inverter.

i hope this help

You are right power supply of MCU and Inverter is isolated in my circuit using optocoupler tlp250.
So,instead of using separate power supplies i can feed 5v to MCU from single 12v source using any regulator circuit.
