Can someone explain the concept of inteleaver in Parallel concatenated convolution codes.. How is input to the interleaver different from the output of the interleaver.

Hi
Interleaver is a device that changes the order of input data. depend on the interleaver type this procedure varies. for example for a block interleaver of size n*d, firstly nd bits is entered from left to right row_by_row but at the output of the interleaver we read these bits from top to buttom column-by column.
