Hi, sorry my 1st post is one trying to gleen info but I'm really stuck with a project.
I have a kiosk 80mm printer than uses an interface board via LPT1 but for the life of me I cannot get it to print anything but rubbish except if I use the Generic Text Only driver in WinXP which does produce the correct text so obviously it is a driver or settings issue.
The therm mech is a fujitsu FTP632MCL304 but the communications board has no numbers that corrispond to the fujutsu specs though it does look very much like the correct board which I believe is a FTP-622DCL011 as the mech has the cutter option.
Soo.. any idea what I am doing wrong when I print "THIS IS A TEST" from notepad I get a ton of rubbish and line feeds.
