Interfacing contact cmage censor CIS module with microcontroller

hello,
I'm willing to interface a contact image sensor module (NOM03A6--AY17G) taken from a broken scanner with a PIC or any other micro controller (Raspberry pi maybe) , any helpful information?

I could be wrong, but this is more of an FPGA job than MCU.
