ammeter plc

I got a Diesel Generator with indications::"RPM Meter","Voltmeter" and "ammeter".Now im willing to interface the ammeter with my PLC.I got an analog module of my PLC.So inorder to interface the ammeter with my PLC the ammeter should give analog output so that it would be easy for me to directly interface ammeter with PLC analog module.
Actually im willing to measure the current using the city transform and it is giving 0.11Amps on 1000W.So what should i do to have voltages and it would be easier for me to interface with the PLC
