I have a simple Project where I just want to know when a circuit breaker trips. This CB does not have auxiliary contacts. So I thought that I can you use an interface and measure the voltage at the input of a PIC. To isolate the high side(240Vac) from the 5Vdc from the PIC I should use a relay to signal at the port of the PIC the presences or not of tension. Is it possible to do it with opto-couplers? Or another type of IC? Thanks, Bruno
