[51] interface 89s52 with EEPROM (or)pendrive (or)hard drive

Hi i m new to this website. I m doing project with microconroller 89s52. I need to interface an external pendrive or hard drive or EEPROM.I cant get a idea how to start.help me. and also i need a code for the same

i saw the code bt i cant understand the code wat they r doing..i can understand the i2c code bt wat they r doing while write/read to/from EEPROM.

write means in specific address we have store the value to eeprom . and read means in specific address we get that value from eeprom.

what type of hard drive you are referring to..??
is it PATA, SATA, or SSD..??
